Blue Tees Rainmaker
Blue Tees Golf • Doppler Radar
Overview
The Blue Tees Rainmaker is Blue Tees Golf's first launch monitor: a $600 portable Doppler radar unit with a built-in 4.3" display. It reports 21 metrics, with the core set visible on the device and extended trajectory data (hang time, landing speed, landing spin, and more) available in the LAUNCH app. It works indoors and outdoors, runs standalone practice modes without a phone, and connects to GSPro and E6 Connect for simulator play.
Best For
Budget-conscious golfers who want a portable radar launch monitor with a built-in display, attack angle and club path, and GSPro/E6 support for under $600.

Trajectory Data (LAUNCH App Only)
Side, Side Total, Hang Time, Descent Angle, Apex Time, Landing Speed, and Landing Spin appear in the LAUNCH app only, not on the device display
Reviewers report that spin is calculated from radar data rather than directly measured — treat spin numbers as estimates, especially indoors
Face Angle and Dynamic Loft are not provided
How to Export CSV via GSPro
- 1Open GSPro and connect your Rainmaker
- 2From the main menu, select Practice Range (or On-Course Practice)
- 3Hit your shots as normal
- 4When finished, click the clipboard icon in the top-left area of the screen
- 5Click Export CSV — the file saves to your desktop
Note: Blue Tees does not document a CSV export from the LAUNCH app. GSPro is the most reliable structured export path. See our GSPro guide for details.
How to Export Screenshot Upload
- 1Hit your shots using the device display or the LAUNCH app
- 2Open the shot screen showing your metrics (the LAUNCH app shows the full metric set)
- 3Take a screenshot on your phone
- 4Upload the screenshot to SimSights — our OCR will extract the shot data automatically
Note: Screenshot the LAUNCH app rather than photographing the device display, since the app shows all 21 metrics.
Important
If you hit shots through GSPro or E6 Connect, your shot data lives in that software — see our guides for GSPro and E6 Software.
Tips for Best Results
- Position the unit behind the ball, aligned with your target line
- Works with standard balls; radar-enhanced balls are also supported
- Standalone modes (Practice, Swing Speed, Target Distance) work without a phone
- Use the LAUNCH app's "My Bag" to sync your clubs before a session
- Battery lasts 6+ hours; the unit is IPX4 rated for light rain
Import Your Blue Tees Rainmaker Data to SimSights
