GSPro

GSPro Golf Simulator$250/year

Overview

GSPro is the most popular golf simulator software for home setups, offering hundreds of community-created courses (and growing daily), a massive online community, and compatibility with virtually every major launch monitor. Its Practice Range and On-Course Practice modes allow you to hit shots and export the data as CSV for analysis. Windows PC only.

Best For

Serious home sim golfers who want the widest course selection and launch monitor compatibility at an affordable price.

Compatible Launch Monitors

How to Export: CSV from Practice Range

  1. 1Open GSPro and connect your launch monitor
  2. 2From the main menu, select Practice Range
  3. 3Hit your shots as normal
  4. 4When finished, click the clipboard icon in the top-left area of the screen
  5. 5Click Export CSV
  6. 6The CSV file will save to your desktop

Note: CSV export is only available from the Practice Range and On-Course Practice modes. You cannot export shot data from scored rounds, tournaments, or multiplayer sessions.

How to Export: CSV from On-Course Practice

  1. 1Open GSPro and connect your launch monitor
  2. 2From the main menu, select On-Course Practice
  3. 3Choose your course and settings
  4. 4Hit your shots as normal
  5. 5When finished, click the clipboard icon in the top-left area of the screen
  6. 6Click Export CSV
  7. 7The CSV file will save to your desktop

Note: On-Course Practice gives you full course access while retaining the ability to export. This is a good option if you want both simulation and data export.

Important

There is no session history or stored data in GSPro — you must export your CSV before closing the session. If you close the Practice Range without exporting, the data is lost.

The metrics available in the CSV depend on your launch monitor. For example, a Garmin R10 will provide fewer club data fields than a GCQuad or Uneekor EYE XO2.

For scored rounds or tournaments where CSV export is not available, you can upload screenshots of the shot data screen to SimSights instead.

Some launch monitors require additional subscriptions for GSPro integration: Foresight devices require FSX 2020 or FSX Play, Bushnell Launch Pro requires GOLD subscription, and Uneekor requires the Pro Package.

Tips for Best Results

  • Use Practice Range mode when your primary goal is data collection and analysis
  • Export your CSV before closing the session — GSPro does not store session history
  • The CSV file saves to your desktop by default
  • Check that your launch monitor is connected and sending data before starting your session
  • On-Course Practice is a good compromise if you want course play and data export
  • Devices not officially supported may work via GSPro's Open API with third-party software
