Overview
TruGolf offers camera-based launch monitors ranging from the portable LaunchBox to the premium ceiling-mounted Apogee, both tightly integrated with the E6 Connect simulator platform. The LaunchBox is a 2.7 lb portable unit with dual high-speed cameras that tracks ball data and displays results on a 4" E-ink screen. The Apogee is an overhead-mounted dual-camera system that measures full club and ball data (including attack angle, club path, and face angle) without requiring marked balls or club stickers.

How to Export Screenshot Upload via E6 Software
- 1Play your round or practice session in E6 Connect or E6 Golf as normal
- 2After each shot, navigate to the shot data screen showing your metrics
- 3Take a screenshot on your device (PC: Windows key + Print Screen, Mac: Cmd + Shift + 3)
- 4Upload the screenshot to SimSights — our OCR will extract the shot data automatically
Note: E6 shot-level CSV export depends on your license, and SimSights doesn't have a dedicated E6 CSV importer yet, so screenshots are the most reliable way to get your TruGolf launch monitor data into SimSights. See our E6 Software guide for more details.
Tips for Best Results
- Apogee: Mount at 9-10 ft ceiling height, positioned 21-25 inches in front of tee area
- Apogee: No marked balls or club stickers required — works with any golf ball
- LaunchBox: Portable 2.7 lb unit with 4.5-hour battery, works indoors and outdoors

TruGolf does not currently provide reliable CSV exports for third-party analytics. You can upload screenshots of your shot data instead, and our OCR technology will extract the metrics automatically.
