Low Point Side
The lateral position of the club's lowest point in the swing arc.
Full Definition
Low point side measures how far left or right of the target line the clubhead reaches its lowest point. Ideally the low point should be near the center of the stance and aligned with the ball position. A low point that is significantly offline indicates the swing arc is shifted laterally, which can cause directional inconsistency and inconsistent turf interaction.
Optimal RangeGeneral guidance based on tour averages. Your optimal range depends on swing speed, physical attributes, and individual technique. Many golfers succeed with metrics outside these ranges.

Why It Matters
A laterally shifted low point can cause directional misses even when face and path look correct. If the club bottoms out offline, the effective path and loft at impact change. Understanding low point side helps diagnose why shots miss in unexpected directions.
