Club Speed Profile
A graph of clubhead speed through the swing arc, not just the single value at impact.
Full Definition
Club Speed Profile plots clubhead velocity over time (or position) during the downswing. Instead of a single speed number at impact, you see when the club accelerates, where it reaches peak speed, and whether that peak occurs before, at, or after the ball. Ideally peak speed coincides with impact. A profile that peaks early and is decelerating at impact indicates energy is being wasted before contact.
Why It Matters
A single club speed reading tells you how fast; the profile tells you how efficiently you're delivering that speed. If your club peaks well before impact, you have untapped distance potential without swinging harder—just by improving timing. It also helps diagnose casting (early release) versus lag-based deliveries.
