Last Data Point (Time)
The elapsed time from impact to when the ball was last tracked.
Full Definition
Last data point time measures the duration of ball tracking in seconds from impact. A full driver shot outdoors might be tracked for 6-7 seconds until landing. A shot into a net might only be tracked for 0.5-1 second before the ball hits the screen. This helps contextualize whether other metrics are measured or simulated.
Why It Matters
Tracking time indicates data quality. Longer tracking times mean more measured data and typically more accurate carry distances. Short tracking times (under 1 second) indicate the ball hit a barrier and subsequent trajectory data is calculated from launch conditions.
