Last Data Point (Length)
The distance down the target line where the ball was last tracked by the radar.
Full Definition
Last data point length indicates how far the ball traveled before it went out of radar range or landed. This is the furthest distance at which the launch monitor was able to track the ball. When hitting outdoors with sufficient space, this typically equals carry distance. When hitting into a net, this shows how far the radar could track before the ball was stopped.
Why It Matters
This metric helps you understand the quality of your tracking data. If the last data point is significantly shorter than expected carry, the launch monitor may have lost tracking, and some data (like carry distance) may be estimated rather than measured.
